Granite
Granite is a hard, durable stone that serves as one of our most hardwearing options. Unlike our other materials on offer, granite is formed of a crystalline mineral structure which essentially means that it is very hard to chip, break, or permeate with moisture. If you’re looking for a tough stone that can form the basis of your construction needs, granite may be your best option!
Granite has a very high heat tolerance, making it perfect for kitchen work surfaces as it will withstand heat from pots and pans.
We provide granite in thicknesses from 20 to 30 millimetres, often for kitchen worktops. It is inherently heat-resistant and cool to the touch, making it perfect as a surface to cook and bake on. We hold stock of polished (shine), leathered (textured) and honed (matte) granite.
